Affordable Repeater/Range extender

Hi All


I'm looking for an affordable repeater or range extender to increase wifi coverage in my house.
Currently I can get perfect wifi in all except 1 room in the house. I've tried switching the router to another network point, but there always seems to be a small section where wifi signal is not available.

What would be the best/most affordable option.
Idealy, I would just want the range extended (ie, the same SSID, and therefore not needing to change to a different network in different parts of the house.)

I do Not know of any devices that amplifies an existing network. I think you have to buy a device that creates another WiFi network but those can be cheap like R500
 
Use any old router with wifi. Connect it via cable with your current one. Duplicate the wifi settings in the additional router, except, use a different channel.

I'm assuming you have network points sine you mention 'points'
 
You can buy repeaters. Check netgear or linksys or the tplink products. Linksys and netgear I know works fine and same ssid plus passwords mean seamless and I dont have to switch.. TP link has been recommended by many. Do a search for range extenders.
