Those of you who still read the inky print stuff may have noticed an advert in the July 9th Business Day inviting you to name Timbuktu as a wonder of the world (only African site and all that). Unfortunately voting closed on 6th July so this advert, paid for by the gumment, Telkom and the SABC (that is, the taxpayer in all cases) looks like a complete waste of money. Hopefully somebody will tell the gumment, Telkom and the SABC that 2010 comes before 2011……
