AfriGreen FTW!!!

I got to try out AfriHost's new AfriGreen Network today, and it is wonderful! Pages are snappy even in peak times when I am streaming 2 HD videos :).

To be honest I was seriously considering leaving Afrihost when I move to a new home the at the end of the month, but it looks like I'll be sticking with Afrihost after all.

Ps: Afriman, what is the process of moving my line to a new house? It is in the same area, so it it possible to keep my landline number?

and the times of denials and endless requests for tracerts, and Gian making a state of the network address
 
Sonic2k: you need to attach your tracert with a remark like that :erm:
 
Afrigreen is going well for me too. Hopefully it stays this way. Until the recent drama I didn't generally have issues with my business account.

Oh, and blaming your router, Telkom, the neighbour, weather bureau, whatever, but never themselves to blame for the lack of service.
 
Works at Africrap perhaps? Worried about the current churn? Just saying.

Excited about getting what most other ISP's offer as standard?

I was supposedly moved to this so called AfriGreen network a week or two ago after a complaint I lodged. The problems sadly didn't end. Over the last two days I've had constant resets and yesterday an hour or so outage around lunchtime. I'm sure they'll blame Telkom, the Russians, the phase of the moon, but personally, I'm not impressed and I couldn't care anymore. I've lost all faith in AfriHost.

Well Afrihost is one of the only ISP's that lets you leave from the following month if you give notice before the 25th. It's currently the 24th. If it's not working for you find something else that will.

Hi

Sorry to hear about the issues here :( Interesting seeing that across two IPC networks you see similar issues though - this would usually point to a line/ exchange issue.
Let's run some tests though and get things confirmed - have you chatted to our Support guys yet?

I was told this as well so many times before I left AH...howcome then so many of these people have like ZERO issues when they do tracerts on other ISP's?

I'm asking for comparison tests in this case, I did say usually ;)
 
Nothing wrong with Afrigreen. Tested it thoroughly... only problem is I ran out of data :(
