I may have somehow gotten a 4MB line from Telkom, according to the status page of my modem. I wopuld like to test this speed but only have a 384kbps uncapped account from Afrihost. Is there someone out there who would be willing to share some login details for a 4Mb account with me so I can test my line speed? I guess login details for any ISP will work as well.

I know I'm not the most active of members here on MyBB, but I still would not risk my reputation by phishing. It was a genuine request for help.
I found that Webafrica sells 1 gig pre-paid for R15 (local only). I will by that and try it out. Thanks for the suggestion.
