Afriman, my latency seems to be normalising now thankfully. It ranges from 270ms-400ms on the international blizzard EU servers.

Seems like you are doing something right! Hopefully it will return soon to the glory days of a constant 250-260ms.

My own Starcraft II latencies have been very high over the past few weeks, the past 48 hours have seen the latency drop significantly, I certainly hope as well we can get it consistently at 270ms across our network again!

Super slow speed this morning in Durban. Haven't had such slow speeds since February this year :(

The connection speeds in Durban should have picked up quite a bit. :(

Could you perhaps send me a PM with your ADSL account details so that I can have a look for you.

Getting terrible pings and download speed on speedtest and net seems very laggy and slow ( from jhb ) any issues we should know about ?

Everything looks fine on our side, there do appear to be a few network outages and issues on the Telkom network, could you perhaps PM me your ADSL line number so that I can check up on this.

It seems to be back to normal now thanks :)

North and East peeps must be enjoying the new capacity...thread hasn't been this dead in ages :D

That is awesome to hear! Please keep me updated on any changes! :)

Hi AfriGenie, I am getting extremely slow streaming speeds and bad latency on my Afrihost accounts, other ISP accounts are fine but my bulk is with you guys :( I'm in Milnerton, Cape Town. 20Gig capped acc (40 in total)

Same, also in Cape Town. AH both uncapped and capped are downloading at 80KBps, MWeb capped acc flying at 1.1MBps.

Southern Suburbs, Cape Town. Also been getting terrible latency and speed the past few days/month. I remember when my line used to run 100% perfect 24/7 about 2 months ago. What happened between now and then? Maybe Afrihost should consider undoing whatever was changed.

Also have crap speeds here. I'm trying to stream youtube on my 40Mbps line, but it constantly buffers. Speedtest results is useless since it doesn't relate to the user experience.

Afrihost, you need to get the South sorted out!!

Can't get more than 650kB/s on any p2p download on my 40mb line..

So much for the IPC upgrade in the north. Didn't last very long, did it?..

Edit: And the clock strikes 00:00 and it's full speed again. Interesting...

River Club, 2.40 AM and my speed is still crap. like serious crap.
0.67 Mbps ....
So the North was upgraded or not ? Otherwise I switch to another provider.

Trying to donwload smite 50kbps on uncapped, 50kbps on capped, switch to different isp 400kbps. Ridiculous

Was hoping to have a fun late Friday night watching music videos in 720p.... so much for that idea. It struggled to stream at 480p.

Afrihost, you'd better start giving me a reason to stay here, rather than giving me a reason to leave.

Eish... here in the south... it buffers on 240p... today 144p buffering. Useless.
