Streaming is not good tonight, almost back to as bad as it was.
Strange thing is speed tests are all fine, it is only streaming that is affected.

Stream is coming in in bursts and averaging <100KBs

2 days ago that same stream, from the same server, was a steady 500KBs at this time in the Evening.

Have we somehow been accidentally switched back into the shaped pool again?

Typical, they close the help lines, mark all regions as green and the whole network goes to bits again.

Gave us good service just at the right time to prevent us canceling before the billing cycle, now we pay for rubbish for another month.

My stream is now averaging 16 KBs, watch 2 min, buffer for 15 min etc.

Thanks, I lost a week I thought Monday was the 1st.

Having calmed down a little I did a few tests and I suspect it was the links to USA playing up.
I diverted to a couple of Europe based servers and things were fine there, but it is not a solution as not much of the content I needed is mirrored in Europe.
It is also strange that international speed tests are fine but streams were not.
I will do more testing today.
 
I have not been able to use any US based streaming servers for the past 2 evenings.
Twitch and UStream were fine all day but died at 7PM same as it used to be.

I am now using EU servers where I can.
 
I had moments of awesomeness this weekend, where I was downloading at full speed. But when it came to gaming I was still struggling, getting packet loss...

Had to switch back to my other accounts to work.
 
I just changed my account to a 1 gig account. Things were not awesome all the time. I might join back when things improve. Until then it's goodbye for now. Gaming was bad and at times streaming was also bad. Was better than before and can see Afrihost moving in the right direction I'll just leave till they get there.
 
NEVER ****ing EVER let the monkeys at this circus manage your line! Most pathetic bunch of clowns I've ever dealt with. You guys do not deserve to be in business.

Anyone else having some streaming issues?
Youtube and Twitch is buffering pretty badly for me even though speedtests indicated I am running at full speed.

Shouldn't have been any issues around streaming this weekend, what's your latency been like?

Our Support lines aren't closed - we're available on many channels.

My modem wouldnt reconnect. Had to restart it eventually to reconnect. Weird...
