Yup, IPC congestion, Exchange is perfect :)
 
Same here, Wynberg (CPT exchange).. 300ms ping times to local sites and local FTP upload timing out every few secs.. started about an hour ago.

are you doing the tracert via wifi or lan cable, i saw your first hop there was a little high for local
 
Its MTN guys, this has happened before.

They're probably messing with their data centre in Great Westerford after the fire this week.

Just go make a free WebAfrica account and use that, pings are fine on IS backbone.
