That's weird. Have you tested across a few torrents?
Are your HTTP downloads also slow?

I had an issue too last night.
Browsing was fine, HTTP was fine, speedtest on a 2mb line was 1.67mb compared against the 1.76mb I usually get, the same torrent went from 210 at about 5/6pm to 20-30 around 8pm to 0.1 around 9pm. I tried a new torrent, same issue, restarted router, same issue.

I can confirm that torrents are indeed dead.

I have attached a screenshot.

After getting that screenshot the torrent started downloading, after a wait of +/- 5 minutes.

Its moving up and down from 50kbs - 120kbs, very sporadic

Could you PM me your DSL username? I'd like to run a few checks from my end.
Very strange that P2P is slow but your HTTP downloads are running fine.

Will do now
I restarted the modem and I am now getting around 242kbps, which still sucks

I usually see sub 300 to international. I'm afraid I'm not going to mission with changing accounts and doing multiple tests, suffice to say, my other accounts are fine at the moment. I can understand this happening on the uncapped account because almost everything gets shaped on that but on a 75gb capped account that has never had issues, something is amiss. The posts here and on FB, etc just back up what I'm experiencing.

Could you maybe elaborate a bit on the issues that are cropping up at the moment?

There should not be any issues with throughput anywhere at the moment.

So all the people complaining for the past few weeks are just imagining things? (Packet Loss, high latencies etc.)
They even test with other ISP accounts and don't experience the same issues.

Not sure what to do about this as I still cannot play any online games not even Counter Strike locally. Must i just not pay my bill and jump ship as i have tried test accounts from other ISP's and they work great ....

Interesting that the Afrihost server is in Maputo :) Along with all the latency and intermittent speed issues they also appear to have routing issues.

Sorry to hear that :( Are you still having troubles today?

Not at all. We're the first to admit that things haven't been great over the last few days, but we've worked hard at sorting these out and have started seeing positive results late last night :)
Would you be able to PM me your DSL username? I'd like to run a few tests with you to see what could be causing these issues.

No issues with routing here :)
Geo services get IPs confused sometimes.

Slowed right down here again, I switched back to use for gaming but animations are taking ages to load and it is lagging badly.
I think I will switch back to Telkom, it has been fine since friday.
