The Southern Region has been where we have been focusing most of our optimization and improvement efforts recently.
 
Its been months with no improvement. At all.

Can't play games because of packet loss - Check
Can't stream Netflix/ Hulu - Check
Can only download torrents - Check

The things i want to do with my account i can't. At the moment i'm not even using it. My mate is using it purely for downloads. I in the meantime am using myuncapped WA account for all of the above and have not had one issue with it.

Wow... There should definitely have been an improvement with regards to the DNS issue that was messing with NetFlix. :(

I'm going to check with the DNS People to see what is going on there.
 
My netflix has mostly been good, I'm not having issues. My missus would have complained long ago if it was an issue :-)

BrendanMc which exchange are you on? I'm in Bellville.

Im in the Bothasig/ Edgemead area. 10mb line. on AH i get constant packetloss and Netflix/ Hulu wont stream at all. On my WA account it works perfectly

Netflix has many profiles, and with a 4MB line you cannot compare to something with a 10MB link as they will attempt to get a much higher bitrate video. It also varies from device to device, your PC vs Xbox vs Wii vs Android etc.

One cannot compare Netflix between users and say everything is fine.

But it does help us to figure why it works in one place but not another!

Im running it on 3 devices. 1 X PC, 1 X Laptop and 1 X Xbox 360. Unotelly as DNS solution.

I get no joy on the Capped AH account streaming just doesn't happen. On WA though as mentioned i have no issues. I can run 2 Streams and still play games with no increased latency or packet loss.

Indeed. I have, well currently in cancellation, a 20MB business AH account. I could never get HD streaming working, it would jump to SD every 10-20 seconds and then back to HD again.

WebAfrica is perfect, so I just had to cancel my Netflix and Hulu accounts and resort back to NNTP.

I'm doing the same. Afrihost for downloads only. Currently using WA's free account for gaming/browsing etc and it's rock solid.

AfriGuy and I are testing the solution that nicki is using, and it is looking promising - as well as being free - so hopefully Netflix should have a workable solution.
