Afrihost - changing packages

Att: Afriguy, Afridude, Africhick etc

At the beginning of this year I bought three Afrihost data/airtime XS/XM/XL month to month contracts.

My daughter is at boarding school and goes through a lot of data, so I want to take one of my XS contracts and convert it to a DATA ONLY month to month 2 GB month to month contract.

Because I never use the XS contract that I want to move to a data only contract...I have lots of data and airtime value on that card

1. How do I change packages from an XS to a DATA ONLY ? On your website I see I can only move to other X package...or convert to pay-as-you-go. Must I convert it to a pay-as-you-go, and then attach a data only contract to that number ?

2. Will I lose all my data and airtime if I convert it to a pay-as-you-go, and then over to a DATA ONLY contract ?
 
Sorry to hi-jack but also how do you change the R99 double up if you want to cancel the one with it on and transfer it?

Changing from voice to data only is a bit tricky as re-provisioning needs to be done here. You can either move down to prepaid or cancel the package and sign that SIM up again for data only.

Thanks for the reply. I will move that one down to prepaid then and then sign up for data. You didn't mention if I would lose the data and airtime, so perhaps it would be better to use it all up first before moving it to prepaid.

You would lose the voice, yes :(
I can manually move over the data for you once you've made the change though.
