I can't connect to my afrihost cloud server. Tried 3G and DSL. Afrihost.com also looks like it is down. Someone got some more info.

all my afrihost email accounts are also reporting unable to connect to incoming server errors

hosted website is down as well

I can confirm...my hosted cloud server is offline :-( and we moved to the cloud for reliability...DSL through afrihost is however still working...

I have a Gold Home account and can confirm that it is down...

Not nice... Wonder what the issue is? Stolen cables? Power failure? Server crash? Core router dumped its core?

These guys are possibly the most unreliable hosting company in existence. Hosting is like a hit or miss to them. Oops your site is down. We cheap and suck cause we have 0 redundancy.

I've been hosting with them for nearly 5 years, in that entire time this is only the second problem I've experienced, so I'm inclined to disagree with your statement

This is probably the only company you've ever used then? I've seen a lot more unreliable hosting companies in my day... far worse than afrihost's little hicups now and then

1:45min so since my server went offline, and counting....the calls are starting to come in

afrihost.com now responding to ping's but site still down.

07:48 afrihost.com is now fully up. Network status does not indicate any problems :erm:
