Afrihost customer care FAIL

Does anybody else have a problem regarding Afrihost accounts and customer care or am I just the lucky winner.

I have been with them for the past 3 to 4 years now as a happy customer.
Last year the promo came through that they will take my line over from Telkom, saving me X amount every month and will be hassle free to switch over, and if I am not happy they will reimburse my money.

They never said in the fine print that you will battle for the next three months sorting out issues.

In December they suspended my account, upon querying the fault they have no reason as my account is paid up and that it should not have happened in the first place. Six days went past and they corrected the fault.

In the mean time Telkom is billing me on my online statement and Afrihost is billing me from their side.
I have phoned Afrihost on numerous times to get this sorted and every time they say they will get back to me. I wait two weeks and nothing then I phone back and get the same "We will get back to you" excuse and another two weeks past.

I have to pay for all these phone calls that can last up to 20 to 30 minutes with no result afterwards
If you phone them now and you get transferred to the relevant person you get put on voice mail after being in the waiting list for 10 minutes and guess what, nobody phones you back.

I have even gone as far as moving my line back to Telkom now to not sit with this hassle and failed customer service as nobody seems to be able to help me from Afrihost side so I reckon it will be easier to be back at Telkom than at Afrihost with my line.

Has anybody else have similar experience and what did you do to correct it?
 
Thanks for the post, I was going to move my line over to AH but now I'm having second thoughts.
 
I've moved my line from telkom to AH with no issues. Guess you are the lucky one.

Yep, no issues here. You the only un-lucky one :)
