Afrihost data on PC SIM slot - Windows 7

Hi Guys,

I hope someone can help me to set up to use a SIM in the Mobile Broadband slot on my PC.

After waiting 2 days for Afrihost support to help I am not getting any communication from them apart from the fact that they say there is no username or password to be used yet the PC responds that credentials are required.

Also using their SIM in a modem stick the advice was to go to 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.8.1 and if I try it I get the screen you get when you don't have a internet connection and not the set up screen for the stick.

I have sent them the screen shots and that is where they just stopped responding to the problem.

So far the afrihost mobile data SIM only works on a cell phone.

You need to set the APN to Afrihost. It is by default on internet

If it is set to afrihost then it gives this msg.



It works correctly only on myMTN and does not ask for a username and password.
