i wish people would have the logic to differentiate between an internet service provider and their upstream provider. nonetheless i'm also getting some issues on IS to some places being resold by afrihost. IS for some and mtnb has have been problematic for some users from last week somewhere.

why do you try a speed and ping test from yourself to some place in USA and London ?

which sites are you having a dead slow with ?

I am on Afrihost and only had an issue a little while ago with this site loading. Facebook etc are fine.

verizon also been erratic this weekend to some hosts.

Having problems with both my IS connections, Afrihost and Axxess Local Account (Well I think its IS now) started at about 7:30. When i connect it stays at 38kB/s for a few minutes and then totally just drops

Thanks guys, seems my Telkom account is blazing but Afrihost is very slow.
Not sure whats wrong will do some tests and post.

is that to say that 2 ISPs that use IS will always have the same issues at the same time?
