Afrihost email hosting price increase

I have just received an email from Afrihost informing me that from the 1st December the charge for hosting my bronze email account will increase from R19 to R29, that's more than a 50% increase!

I know that R29 is still a relatively small amount of money but it's the percentage increase that bothers me.

I think I won't be renewing the domain in the New Year, (it's only used for email anyway), and I'll get a free Gmail address.

Mine went from R39 to R49 per month as well, for the silver hosting package

We had tried our best to avoid any increase for a long time and our prices has been the same for some time. Due to dollar based increases from our vendors we had to unfortunately increase hosting fees slightly.
