I have a 20mbps Home uncapped Fibre account with Afrihost. I am aware that they shape/throttle you after 200gig (on 20mbps line) in a 30 day rolling period. Today I wanted to check my usage and see when to expect this "throttling". The data statistics on the clientzone states "coming soon". I opened a ticket and the response I got was:
"Please be advise that we are still implementing a solution for the data logs. Once our Dev team implements the logs, it will be acceptable. Fibre is still in the Beta phase."
As a customer shouldn't I be aware of buying a product when it is still in beta ? They don't mention this when applying for fibre. If I knew this I probably would've went with a more "experienced" fibre provider.
