Hi, been reading the info on the home uncapped account and certain things are a little vague for me and hoping someone can clarify

1. Home Uncapped packages have a monthly threshold after which, your speeds could be subject to throttling if the network is under strain. Premium and Business Uncapped packages have no usage thresholds.

What is this monthly threshold?

2. Shaping - So if i stay within my monthly threshold will my experience be unshaped?


Im currently on a 10meg line with 100gig cap and the last thing id want is to move to uncapped and have a "lesser" experience

Stick with your capped account rather. It's worth every penny to spend a little more on a capped account. You WILL eventually be shaped and throttled on an uncapped account.

You get throttled/shaped based on how much you download per day, and what you downloaded (P2P/torrents accelerate this process). Only your downloads are throttled. Browsing remains the same (including streaming from sites like YouTube).
