Afrihost Hosting - Cloud servers issue

Good Day

So recently acquired one of these, opted for Windows server 2012 r2.
Checked updates - 191 required updates.5 Hours and 2 gigs later I reboot the server and am greeted with a msg saying "We couldn't complete the update , rolling back changes".

Now this issue has been known for about 2 years -

So now the tech at Afrihost just says the machine is stuck in a loop and he will deploy the fresh server again.How is that going to help me?

FYI I require updates because I need to install MS c++ distro 2015 which is needed to install WAMP.

Can A Mod pls move this thread to the official Afrihost support section.Thanks
