The invoices Afrihost issues are not proper invoices.
They do not show my address.
I've been using my Afrihost ADSL account from 1 phone number for almost a year.
I need proof of address for this account.

If Afrihost can't send me proper invoices I'll need to cancel and use a different ISP that does.

I contacted support weeks ago and they just replied with some dumb automated response telling me to download their incomplete (no address) invoices on their ClientZone. Not helpful.

I am so sorry that you are struggling here. I do have to mention though that since the service we are providing you with isn't address dependent there is no reason for it to have your address.

The best place to get your proof of address is from a bank statement.

My cellphone service provider doesn't provide a service that is address dependent, but the invoice has my address. It comes down to a professional approach, IMO.

I've been an Afrihost client for almost 10 years and all my Afrihost invoices contain my address in them.

According to SARS a valid tax invoice should have the address

As from 8 January 2016, the following information must be reflected on a tax invoice for it to be considered valid:
  • Contains the words “Tax Invoice”, “VAT Invoice” or “Invoice”
  • Name, address and VAT registration number of the supplier
  • Name, address and where the recipient is a vendor, the recipient’s VAT registration number
  • Serial number and date of issue of invoice
  • Accurate description of goods and /or services (indicating where applicable that the goods are second hand goods)
  • Quantity or volume of goods or services supplied
  • Value of the supply, the amount of tax charged and the consideration of the supply (value and the tax)
To ensure that the Tax Invoice meets the SARS requirements, a checklist has been developed. To access the checklist, click here.

@mh348, exactly! That's why I said "proper invoice" :)
Afrihost actually came thru in 1.5hrs.
Called me back. It's in ClientZone "My Account"
If your addr is populated in there, they show it on new invoices. If not, they don't.

That is correct, ClientZone info is directly linked to your billing etc. Glad you were able to come right here.
