afrihost is the worst isp ever

i bought a 1gb pre paid package to tie me over for the weekend, everything fine, then nothing, no notice absolutely no help, sms'ed them with the one hour support, that was 3 hrs ago, i am sick and tired of the isp's thinking that the clients are obligated to suffer their shait service

Afterhours service from isps is nevergood, if not non existant after 5pm

why dont people learn that and internet hosting company is not a service provider !

look what happened to absa and their dial up ! they sucked at it ?!

in the reverse sense one of the most worst hosting companies i have dealt with is an adsl service provider in South Africa who now sells internet hosting packages !
their server has been infected with more that 7 java script based viruses and no matter how much we have proved that the virus resides within the server they keep telling us it must be our virus software picking up false positives ! This after showing them a post on wordpress.org that warns and proves that those viruses infects the whole server

The moral(s) of the story, dont buy adsl from afrihost ! they are and hosting company,
Dont buy hosting from telkom they are a adsl service provider,
And dont buy anything from mweb ! they're too expansive

I'm with Afrihost.

Weekends I can understand, but you always get a prompt response during weekdays in working hours.

Will bring this thread to the attention of Afrihost.
