Afrihost Mobile data and Voice

I was considering moving to their voice and data package. However I get confusing messages from agents.

If I take R99 deal, one gets 1GB data and about 50 min voice. I understand that it all expires month end.

However, if u topup data, any left over caries over for a month from when u topped up.....fine

But Iam told if u top up voice, and balance u have is lost at month end, no carry over.

If I load R200 airtime and us R50, I lose the R150.

This sounds insane!

Yip it's daft, is why I'm on prepaid with auto-topup:

Never run out of airtime/data and no expiry = WIN

It's silly, but you can also topup with mtn airtime so you can load less than the set amounts offered via afrihost.

You mean buy mtn prepaid and load on the afrihost prepaid or afrihost month to month? What is then the call rate/min

I get my monthly afrihost airtime bundle.
If I need extra, I topup with mtn bundles as they offer smaller options than Afrihost.
I think they rate/min is exactly the same as Afrihost. It also shows up on your AH control panel.

This sounds great. Afrihost rate is 79c/min on topup.

is this then the same with mtn airtime
