Afrihost - No Double Capped Data for bundles?

Hi Guys,

getting sick of the uncapped product so i was wanting to change to the Capped product until the uncapped gets sorted out...

in the client zone i went in and wanted to "edit my package" to change the 4mbps uncapped to the 50+50g capped option...but then i see that there is no option of that...they only give you the 50g which is the same price as the 50+50g double data?

do i have to cancel my uncapped entirely and then select the 50+50g as a new account? (you can select it when creating a new service in the client zone). If i do that will it just pick up that i am a"bundled" customer and removE the double data allocation?

what gives?
 
They are in the process of sorting out the capped bundle to be in line with the double data. No permanent offering as yet, but we are waiting.

Currently what they are doing is giving all capped bundle customers a free mystery bonus topup data every month. So you can get your 100GB that way.

Apparently revising the bundled capped offerings to reflect the better value now offered to capped unbundled users is taking a very long time.

Why is this Afrihost ?

Surely we can drop the mystery bonus work around and go for a more permanent solution.

AFAIK the CP doesn't show double your data, but you should also not be bundled with your line. There is no double your data when bundled which is very stupid imho.

I would say
1. Cancel your uncapped.
2. Log a ticket to be sure the billing is sorted because its very close to 25th and that you are unbundled.
3. Then on 1st June apply for a double cap account.

or

1. Change package to 50g capped (this will become 50 + 50).

The new CP does let you use the double data. I have upgraded and downgraded and it allocates the promotion to you.Currently on 50GB + 50GB.

I would imagine you must be very careful doing this if you're on a bundled deal. By doing this you probably unbundle which means you lose the discount on the line portion.

Correct me if I'm wrong though.
