Afrihost - no more PDF invoices

Hi Afrihost

Just to let you know I'm rather pissed off at the new html "invoices" you are sending.
First I was told it was a fault and would be corrected, but this month I am told you will no longer be sending PDF invoices.

I am not interested in logging into the clientzone every month to download the PDF, and would rather find another ISP that can email me the invoice instead of wasting my time.

Thanks for nothing.
 
There's a link at the top of the email that says "Having trouble viewing this email? Click here to download a PDF version of your invoice."

I clicked it and it gave me my invoice.

Mind blown - I didn't even notice that before :D

I am happy with the changes. One less click to print the invoice. I don't understand why people are so up in arms about not having a PDF attached.

This is also how I get my invoice in pdf.... don't see the problem

Not on mine... it says "Having trouble viewing this email? Click here to view a print friendly online version of your invoice." and opens the same HTML document.

It's not a fault I'm afraid.

We've replaced the PDF Invoices with the HTML invoices as they are faster to generate and send out.

For all intents and purposes the invoices should be similar when printed out.

At the top of the mail that we send the invoices out with, you should see a link to download a PDF invoice straight from the mail.

Actually I don't know what I'm smoking... the word "here" does link to the PDF. I think outlook blocked the link the first time...

Mine says, "having trouble viewing this email? Click here to view a print friendly online version of your invoice".

It would be better if it said something (more clear) like, "Click here to download a PDF of your invoice", and also make the entire sentence a link, not just the word "here".

That seems a pretty reasonable request. :) I'll be sure to pass it onto our Dev Team.
