Afrihost / Openserve down whole day

Anyone else with an offline openserve fibre?

I'm in PTA and have been disconnected since 11am today. Router fails to connect ("unknown error on WAN page / PPPoE connection). PON is lit green, LOS is off on my ONT.

Spent an hour with Afrihost whatsapp support checking settings, pppoe details, resetting the line etc, nothing helped. The support agent logged a call with Openserve to inspect but also said there is ongoing maintenance in pretoria.

None of my neighbours have issues with openserve though.

No internet is worse than loadshedding!

Openserve fibre in my area is down for some reason... neighbour's also experiencing same thing since about 11am... any idea on what's wrong?

Thanks AfriNatic. Ironically the internet came back online ~30 minutes after making this post.
Still don't understand why it was down? Or why its was seemingly only my connection that was affected and none of my neigbours.

Glad it's sorted. :)
 
Btw Openserve actaully phoned me the next day to follow up on the call logged for my line by Afrihost whatsapp support. They had no notice of maintenance in the area, at least none that the support agent could see on their end.
