I decided yesterday (Sunday) that I'm going to cancel my Axxess/Zoom fibre. It is just a mission to get problems resolved. They take their time to resolve problems with the fibre.

Decided to go with Afrihost and Openserve. Applied yesterday (Sunday) afternoon after 16h00 and to my surprise this morning 11H30 the guys from Openserve arrived at my premises to install the fibre. Within 45 minutes it was installed and activated. Now just waiting for Afrihost to deliver the router.

Hopefully the router will be delivered tomorrow.

Now this is service I can get used to.

Can't you use your own, while you wait?

Afrihost are quick and efficient. My line speed went to double with them at no extra charge, from 500Mb to 1Gb. Apparently there's free capacity or something.

Hi There,

Can you send me your email/ID linked to you Afrihost account so I can check how far your delivery is,

Kind regards

Wish I could say the same. Openserve never powered the distribution box on top of the pole outside and now I am just a sitting duck waiting for afrihost to sort the issue out.

Hi,
