Afrihost pathetic service

Good Day

I have been a customer of Afrihost for many years now and my experience as a customer has been good however as of recent I have had many different problems with Afrihost especially the call centre.

I get absolutely no help from the Call Centre agents and Or the Managers I would like to point out that I myself have been working in the call centre industry for 14 years now and know exactly how it works. The service is pathetic and disgraceful to the industry itself and this is the reason for why so many customer don’t like to deal with call centre’s because of call centres like Afihost!

On the 26th of April I called in to Airhost to change my package or cancel it as the Client Zone was not allowing me to do this. After waiting 18 Minutes on the line for someone to answer eventually and agent by the name of Vallencia answered I explained my query I wanted to migrate or cancel my current package her first response was I must do it on the client zone same like every other agent at the airhost call centre,

She eventually said they might be a way she can help me she needs to speak to her manager, Please note this time the manager is available.
She came back to me and said my account is in arrears and I need to make a payment then her manager will be able to change it and everything will be ok. I logged onto client zone made the payment of R100 immediately when got back to the agent she then tried to cancel the product, could not then asked assistance from her manager after waiting on hold she eventually came back and told me sorry there is nothing they could do I asked then why did you make me pay and lied Her Response was “EITHER WAY YOU OWED THE MONEY AND HAD TO PAY US ANYWAY! This sort of service is pathetic which made me very irate and I immediately asked for the manage this was at 16:50 and I know the call centre closes at 17:00. Vallencia tells me the manager is not available she is on another call I told her I will wait and I did for 20 minutes at 17:10 Vallencia came back on the line and tells me her manager will only be able to help me next week AND HANGS UP THE PHONE!!! Knowing when I call back I won’t be able to get through as the lines are closed!!

You send me a sms asking however my experience when I rate it a Zero I receive a lousy response saying sorry and someone will contact but nobody did so this tells me Afrihost is not willing to take responsibility for this pathetic service.

This service is absolutely appalling Afrihost provided me with no internet during the month of May however debits my account on the 1st of June 2019 my app says my account is suspended however I have 102GB Please explain why you are charging me for a Service that you are not providing?? Who is going to pay for all the calls that I have been making??? Its costing me so much of money for something I don’t have which is daylight robbery!!

I am so sorry that your experience with us has been poor. This is honestly not what we wish for our clients. If you still need assistance, can you drop me your clientzone username so I can look into this?
