The lost isn't carried through to the end host. So this isn't showing packet loss persay, but rather that ICMP packets are being dropped, as they take the lowest priority when networks get busy (i.e. they get dropped)

Good day Afrihost. I would like to know what hardware you install. I live in a high-risk area and theft is common. Based on this "borrowing" equipment is a very bad idea because I will be kept responsible for replacement anyway.

So what can we do in this situation? Is there perhaps an insurance plan we can take with the router or something like that?

Sorry for posting here.

Hello.

The ONT installed remains the property of the fibre network provider. We provide a Huawei AX3 WiFi6 Fibre Router. Unfortunately we don't have an insurance plan to take up with the router.

Thank you, I doubt they will go for the ONT. They normally grab the routers But I will look into it. I am told by Metro that they provide the ONT upon installation. Does this mean you will replace that or do you just use the ONT that is available?

If you have an ONT installation already, it is a service activation order. We do not have to place a new installation order.
