I've been with Afrihost a while for Mobile DATA on my MTN contract and must say it's been great.
Obviously the end of the double up data promotion isn't ideal, so I've decided to give Afrihost+ a go with the free trial which will still give me the double data and some additional benefits.
So far I've been quite impressed and I'm actually enjoying simfy africa and its mobile app. Even though when it comes to paying after the trial I'll basically be paying R99 more for 500 megs and the music service (If you compare it to what I was getting and using from the + service).
If there was one recommendation I could make to the service is that Afrihost+ should enable data roll-over (Even just if it's for 1 month). I'm on the 2+2 package and comparing it to the Axxess package, the advantage they have on price and data roll-over is still enough to make me consider switching (When looking at what I use it for):
Afrihost and Plus - R250 includes 4.5gig Data/Simfy/Great Service
Afrihost (Old Package) - R150 4 gig Data/Great Service
Axxess - R139 includes 4gig Data/Roll-over
Or is this just my opinion? Otherwise I don't see the viability and does feel a bit gimmicky...
