I haven’t had internet service for more than 2 weeks.
Afrihost seemingly refuses to resolve the issue and won’t even respond to my emails. Not to mention it’s like they don’t exist on weekends when you do have time to call. How can a company that provides a 24/7 product not be reachable on weekends except through WhatsApp which isn’t responded to or a callback message, which if you lucky will get you a call but very likely no real help.
I had to follow up myself with the fibre provider to try to confirm if it’s an issue on their side, and they’ve given feedback to me, and they say they’ve given feedback to Afrihost as well that it’s a router issue, but I don’t get an update or solution from Afrihost themselves.
Afrihost call centre support is a joke, no help at all and just act as a post box to the fibre provider. But if the problem lies with Afrihost themselves then you can consider yourself in a black hole. There seem to be no technicians that come out to you from Afrihost and if there are, for some reason it’s not offered to help you.
Just keep paying and no internet.
