afrihost pro rata

erm ja so i signed up with afrihost
it says pro rata 3.3gb :wtf:
i signed up for 5gb
iz for next month

so erm did i get 5gb or 3.3gb???
PS igot billed R98 = 3gb ish
im happy since telkom closed my account without notice and stole my 4GB:twisted:

Got 3.3GB pro-rata, paid for 3.3GB. Will be the full 5GB from February 1st.

Afrihost Pro-Rata

Hi nukefission, I just signed up with Afrihost and got the same as you.

What happens is that they pro-rata the bill for the reminder of the month and pro-rata the bandwidth. Assuming you signed up on the 10th of Jan.

So 5Gb * 21 / 31 = 3.38GB

and R145 * 21/31 = R98.22

on1st Feb you'll be billed the full R145 and get the full 5GB.

Hope that clears it up.
