Afrihost pure internet Hell / Joy

I have just told Telkom what they can do with their service, maybe a big mistake thinking Afrihost would be they way to go ,the call centre must have just one person, and today Saturday try phone these clowns they promise pure internet joy 24/7 and our lines are closed, send emails open tickets and send help sms and nothing, if they dont sort out this fibre connection in the next hour im going elsewhere and to hell with the costs Afrihost wont see another cent from me.:crylaugh:

Just a little feedback and that is that it has been pretty good this far :)

Why even give them an hour? I don't think anything will change by then.

Phone them.
Start the fire.
Grill the meat.
Eat.
Laugh.
Go to the loo.
Check your phone.

Repeat process as needed.
 
I just saw a message on Facebook:

Afrihost: "Our network engineers are urgently investigating with Vumatel. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused."


Clients: "Vumatel just told me the same thing. "The infrastructure is fine, Afrihost is having issues with data transmission"."

" I also think their network is down. You cannot even get them on the phone."

Im doing all that but not in the same order, wonder if that will make a difference?

Who to call for fibre that just gets setup and works in less than 30min?

Lol. Glad to hear you got it sorted.
 
In all fairness, its the support team that know nothing or they lie to you, get you to make a million changes then ask if you can change the router and later magic happens and its all working....And now that its up and running its good no problems so far.

Just be honest and say we have a problem and need a few hours to fix it, that leaves me free to do other things.
