If I may ask, why did you register the domain with an ISP?
I once registered a domain with [company x]. A while later their DNS server stopped working (or they killed my records?) so my mail stopped working. After fighting with them about it I eventually gave up and decided to just move the domain. They wouldn't accept the transfer. They would not let me domain go - and there was no legal fallback because technically they owned it.
I eventually just started using a different domain. By checking whois every now and then I saw that they continued to pay for the domain (essentially not allowing me to get it back) for about 4 years.
Point is, it's MUCH safer to just register it yourself - plus it's cheaper (unless subsidized) - and you don't need to deal with ISP's crappy wait times with support to change stuff. You can deal with coza directly.
It's very easy to register your own domain. First, find a free DNS provider. My favorites are
https://freedns.afraid.org/ and
http://www.namecheap.com/products/freedns.aspx (latter being better). Add your (unregistered) domain to that DNS. Then wait a few hours (for it to propagate properly)
Then copy paste this:
http://co.za/coza_reg.txt into a plaintext email and fill out the fields. You can get the right DNS records from your DNS account. You can use this:
http://co.za/cgi-bin/whois.sh?Domain=afrihost&Enter=Enter as a guide on what the fields want.
Finally email that to
[email protected]. You should get a reply almost instantly saying it's now registered, and then it will be active in a few hours.
You can pay for the domain afterwards via credit card or EFT. It's R50 per year.
If you get hosting later you can just point your free DNS records to that hosting server.
