Afrihost Sim and LTE mobile question

Hi All,

Ok a bit confused, I have 3 5 + 5GB sims from afrihost, I use them in a Hauwei E3331 (Which says it does 21MBPS).

I have been doing numerous speed testes and I never get more then 8MB/s or so. Checked and I am in a well LTE covered area.

Is there another modem I should be using?

If I remember correctly the 21Mbps is pretty much a theoretical maximum that is only attainable in a lab environment. 8Mbps is a realistic speed using that modem. I think it is also an HSDPA+ modem, so if you want LTE speeds, you will have to get an LTE modem.

Haven't done any research with regards to LTE modems, but hopefully someone else will step in and give a recommendation.

Have googled a bit, any using a decent LTE modem they can recommend?
