Afrihost speed test

I have currently a Downstream / Upstream (Kbps) of 4096/512
My last results was
Download Speed: 1065 kbps (133.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 118 kbps (14.8 KB/sec transfer rate)

Afrihost says they do not throttle but this looks very slow?

I just switched to my SAIX account.....Afrihost has been slow the entire week.

Was hitting earlier only 2Mbps, switched to SAIX and back to 3.55

Mine also give a k@k upload and download speed:

Upload: 50kbs
Download: 2.4 Mbs

Have a 4Mb Line, always got 3.9Mbs download and 384kbs upload. This is happening every night, whats up Afrihost?

On a 384 line. Afrihost is fine, same as TI.

Erm, I have been using a combination of Afrihost and TI on my 4Mbps Line, and they have both been fairly crappy. I am not concerned though as it makes my cap seem to go sooooo much urther ...

same here and never had that problem before - seems they are definitely throttling something soemwhere....

Test was done on speedtest.net

I'm starting to doubt speedtest.net .. hmm news server downloads are going full speed (international server), but speedtest shows crappy downloads.
