Afrihost Static IP address

I see that Axxess is now offering the ability to get a static IP address directly allocated through the PPPOE session instead of having to use the L2TP vpn. Seeing as Afrihost uses the same new network as Axxess, when can we expect the same functionality with Afrihost? I don't see anything in the clientzone yet.

I don't want to PM anyone. I want to be able to set it up via the client zone like you can with Axxess.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Seems strange that Axxess has the ability to do it via their control panel but Afrihost doesn't.

We do indeed have Static IPs available on our Business Uncapped products. You will just need to activate it in your ClientZone. Once you have logged in to the ClientZone, and gone to Connectivity, you will need to click on the Services button and choose Active Static IP.

Static IPs are only available on our Business Uncapped accounts for the moment.

Can't you use username.afrihost.com ?

At the moment there aren't any plans for a full production roll-out of Static IPs on our Capped and Uncapped accounts. I am however going to find out from the Higher-Ups if we can make a plan for you.
