afrihost topup issue

Hi,

So I purchased a 1gb topup on my capped account.When going to clientzone it says the 2gb was all used up. Can only assume somehow it allowed us to go over 2gb and decided to take that out the topup, if that's the case that is ridiculous. Surely their system should cut you off at your cap and why should we pay if it doesnt. their support is slow as hell as well.

Has anybody experienced this before?
 
Yep, the last time I checked any overage will be deducted from the usage allocation of the following month or any topups you do before then. This only made a noticeable impact if I started pulling massive amounts of data right at the end of my cap.
 
Guess its time to start reading terms and conditions. Wish I knew how much I overused
 
I've topped up 3 times now, thats 7gb all gone. What kind of stupid system allows you to go 7gb over your cap.

Our system does allow overage, but at the most extreme of cases it will be a few hundred MBs, there is a bit of a buffer between when you are Capped to when you are disconnected to allow you to complete your current session and Top-Up as needed.

What you have experienced definitely sounds strange, could you send me a PM with your ADSL username so that I can look into this for you.
