Afrihost topups

Has Afrihost stopped the specials for topups and bonus bandwidth on capped accounts.
I see topups are at R14.50 per GB but the capped accounts run at R4-R5 per GB.
Is there going to be specials over the festive period?

So it looks like Afrihost has stopped there specials.
What is the cheapest way to get more GBs at about R4 per GB on an ad hoc basis?

You may be lucky and get the 2:1 special in the 2nd half of the month.

They have the 2 for 1 but that is based on R29 per GB so it is R14.50. The in package cost is about R4.00 per GB.

The explanation I got was the package price of R4 odd per Gig was BELOW cost and that they rely on user base NOT using up ALL the data - what data is left on all the users at the end of the month is their "profit" out of which operating cost must come etc.

So come 2nd half of the month they project what should be left and then sell 2:1 Top-Ups BUT I agree even 2:1 Topup is way to expensive when compared against In-Package price.

This is why I ALWAYS use full data allocated to me 101G as we speak.
