Afrihost Uncapped ADSL Feedback (Pt2)

And by the way this means that my downloads are not a bit slow - it means despite paying Afrihost money, I cannot download at all. Please advise how you intend to compensate for this.

I check often, like almost every half hour on clientzone, and my shaping is permanently as below @ 6.5%, even this morning at 01:00 was shaped as below - how can the demand on the network be so high even then?

Honestly....3mbps to international...on a 10mbps line...I get full line speed download on premium usenet service, but what about http traffic....getting annoyed now. No further word from the man named Kyle. sad part is, I am not even shaped....

Youtube is unshaped :)
You can see a few quotes, real-time services are all high-priority and thus unshaped.
(although downloading a Youtube video is certainly shaped).
 
Thanks for the reply, however, why is it so very slow then? I just streamed a 3:22min video at 360p, 12.4mb in size, took 6:27mins to fully stream, couldn't watch in realtime. This download speed works out to about 256Kbps but not 1024Kbps. I have this problem most of the time. The weird part is that although the client zone shows that download is shaped to 50%, when I downloaded this video, it did so at more than 100KB/s, which is almost full line speed.
 
Still shaped to hell and back!! C'mon guys. 2 weeks now??!!! Seriously. We are not buying this IOS7 and GTA crap anymore. It is weekend ffs!!!!

What linespeed are you on?
I'm watching a 480p video now on my 2mb account. It's running at 190-210KB/s, depending on what Youtube wants from it. (Shaping Policy: 25% Download/ 12.5% P2P)

I am also getting the begeezez shaped out of me, signed up middle of this month as a new "customer/donator of monies for service i cannot really use" and have been @ 6.25% for 90% of the time.
 
Afrihost, please look into this WinMTR report. I'm having terrible latency only to international servers and the problem appears to be within the MTN network. This is pinging an EU game server (Path of Exile). Note the packet loss and timeout within the MTN network (Hops 4 and 5):

Please re-look at Twitch live streaming. This most certainly is not being treated as a realtime protocol.

And this is why. Right now I can load up any youtube video, 720p, plays no problem. Can see my dl rate upward of 250kB/s. Cool. Groovy. As it should be.

Load up a live twitch stream my dl averages out to 60kB/s...which sure as heck feels like my shaping protocol speed on HTTP. Therefor even LOW quality stutters a bit. Can forget about medium. Something there is not right.

1mb account. Shaping Policy: 50% Download/ 37.5% P2P. I am not able to watch a video in 360p without interrupting.

Yeah that's definitely weird. As soon as I open a Youtube video my speed maxes out until it fills up the buffer limit.
 
Even if i just browse, pics take forever to load on websites, real time services 100% ????

@AfriTeam: Can I get it in black and white that the Business Uncapped accounts are NEVER shaped? I am about to click upgrade but I want to know that no matter how much I download, no matter how active the line is that it will never be shaped.
