I'm on Capped 4MBPS, Client Zone says:
Shaping Policy: No Shaping Applied
100% Realtime Speed
But...Ookla says;
Ping: 1414ms
D/L:0.07 Mbps
U/L:0.07 Mbps
I specifically changed to cap last week in the hope of at least having some speed.
So, this month I've paid R 597 for Uncapped 4Mbps + aprox. R110 to change over to Capped. That means I've paid roughly R 707 for this month. Let's assume half the month was still on Uncapped, then for the half of the month that I've been on capped, can I get a refund for the product that I don't receive (which I do pay for)?
So I am only getting 1.7% of what I am paying for (if my maths are correct), so half of R 707 is R 353.50. 1.7% of R 353.50 is R 6.01. Can I get the difference of R 347.49 back?
Isn't there something in the CPA about not delivering what was paid for? Or product being significantly different to that which was advertised?
Answer is...probably not right!?
I've been patient and courteous for long enough. If paying in excess of R600 per month (or R 7,200 p/a) for internet does not qualify me important enough to receive the product I am paying for, then it's time to move on.
It's a pity this is how AH turned out. It goes to show, you can have the best customer service in the world, but it's useless if you're not providing the product you pretend to be selling.
At least with Eskom, I don't pay for the power I am not able to use...
Afrihost or Afrihoax :wtf:
