Sure thing, I'll send a PM now. I'd naturally prefer to keep my accounts with your company, so far only one line has been switched to your competitor - and that's not set in stone.

Thanks!

I definitely want you to at least try our AfriGreen before deciding on a course of action. :)

Hi Afriteam. What a difference on Afrigreen network. Youtube like i remember etc . Keep up the good work in this space. Do note that getting best overall response using google DNS.

First day back using Afrihost uncapped, midnight on a weekend, and the shaping policy is on 18%/6%.. fantastic
starting to remember why I left already

Also, where youtube ran fantastically on WA, on Afrihost its back to 240 standard, 360 pushing it, 480p and every few seconds it buffers... just like it did when I decided to leave. Guess I'll just have to wait out the month and go back

Thanks for the amazing feedback! There are still one or two things we need to work on, but we're definitely making good progress! :)

:(

That's not cool to hear.

Would you be willing to try out one of the AfriGreen test accounts?

How does it differ from a 'normal' account though?

Streaming such as YouTube defaults to 280p or sometimes to 144p when streaming, videos from the Steam program/browser also can't play solidly without buffer, in big picture mode videos can spin on loading forever.

Will the new account type change things like that?

So does this mean Afrihost will be reversing the Debit Order taken on 1 Aug ?

As I already paid on 2 July for July - Pro Rata ..

Our records show that your account was canceled with effect from 31/07/2015. There appears to be processing errors at some bank and we were alerted to this by our management. Afrihost took corrective measure in order to address the issue and I am glad the matter is now resolved.

I will be closing this ticket from my side.

Please note that the cancellation will be effective on the 31 of July 2015. You will
not be paying for August.

You have chosen to cancel the account as from the 2015-07-31.

As a result the account has now been deleted from our Internet Connectivity server and is no longer active.

The product will only cancel at the end of this month and the product will still be charged.

Definitely!

AfriGreen is the "code" name of our new ADSL network that we are currently testing, and so far is offering significantly improved performance versus the legacy Afrihost accounts.

Hi, yes I am willing to test the new network if it improves the issues I'm concerned with. The reason I chose to return to Afrihost even though the service is more expensive, is because of the centralization of my mobile Internet, ADSL line etc. If Afrigreen makes it worth staying, why not

Can you send me a PM with your account details please, I'll need to check what is going on from my side.

Awesome! Can you please send me a PM with your ADSL username and I'll generate you an AfriGreen account quickly.

Hey Afrigenie would it be possible to sign myself up for afrigreen? Ive had latency issues during the day when shaping was applied in FF back in February and after working closely with one of the techs they managed to resolve the issue. Unfortunately the problem is back with me being unable to do any serious group content between 8am-1am. Ive been trying to wait for this to be resolved or for me to get an invite to the new network but it's been like this for almost a month now. :(

Lemme see what I can do, drop me a PM with your current DSL username :)
