Unfortunately my experience with Afrihost has been nothing but slow speeds, and a control panel from hell. So i'll be keen to see what they come up with![]()
I found exactly the opposite. Their control panel is great!

It is one only.
From their T&C:
"3.5 Concurrency
3.5.1 You may only have the following connections to the ADSL Service at any given time, unless otherwise agreed:
3.5.1.1 1 (one) ADSL connection; and
3.5.1.2 1 (one) dial-up connection (if applicable) (analogue or 64K ISDN only) to Telkom’s network at any given time."
I found exactly the opposite. Their control panel is great!
ThanksI did not read the full T&C
I just noticed this on the more info pop-up
A good budget option for 1 or 2 users browsing the web and sending emails.
Not sure why they say for 1 or 2 users but anyway.
Would it be possible at all to setup the connection via the router and connect 2 pc's to the router ?
You can have as many PCs you want connected to the router, but there can be only one connection from the router to the ISP's network.

My pc and another 2 laptops are connected up like that via wireless and I complained to my ISP that it is slow so they said it is because there are more than 1 sharing.....is it true that it slows down the connection if 2 are on line at the same time....???
If one PC is using the connection, it's going to slow down the connection for the other PC. You can't have your full line speed for each PC.

What you can do is if say your pc is in the back downloading stuff or people(kids or whoever) are surfing or playing games that are of lower priority than your laptops you can always set the quality of service in your router to give your laptops higher priority, or give certain protocols higher prioity..
Personally i set my games for highest priority so when sis is on facebook i'm not affected at all..
