Hi AfriGirl/AfriMan

When do you plan on releasing your uncapped business ADSL products with static IP's?

I am in need of such a product at the office...

TIA

Whoops! Looks like my ninja poll edit was discovered by TL :D

What they should do (and any ISP do the same):

Offer static IP at a fee (small fee obviously). So, if you are a home user, you can just get a fixed public IP just for an extra fee. Want two or three fixed IP's??? Why not... just pay the fee.

Even for businesses. keep your existing connection and if a fixed IP is required, just pay a small extra fee. Not all business may require the service. Some may need one IP, some others ten fixed IP's.

And the difference between home and business connection is just the quality of the service (contention, speeds guaranteed, etc).

Simple.

yeah... can't figure out why this option is not available

The way Telkom's DSL network works, it's impossible to give you a static IP unless you use L2TP or some sort of VPN.
