How long does it usually take to respond to support tickets? It feels like I’m talking to myself most of the time.
My VDSL is dead. It’s so slow I can’t even send an email. Speedtest just shows 0mbps upload then suddenly shoots to 2mbps, then back down to zero.
We had a cable fault which was repaired but ever since our connection is basically non existent.
Secondly, accounts? I’ve been speaking to a wall for the past week with absolutely ZERO response.
I ordered Enterprise Cloud server product thing. After evaluating it for 24 hours I found out that I could not use LetsEncrypt and would have to use GeoTrust SSL certificates at R1800 annually. Problem is I wanted to move all 800 of my clients over to Afrihost cloud from Hetzner. Unfortunately 60% of them have FREE LetsEncrypt certificates. So financially just not an option as it would cost me a fortune and I’m not now going to ask my clients to pay for something they have been getting for free.
Needless to say I requested cancellation of the server. Got an email stating that I’d be billed for the full month. This isn’t fair?!? I used it for less than 24 hours. Surely there must be a cooling off period?? The deduction went off my account this morning, despite me asking accounts not to deduct. I’m happy to pay an admin fee if required but the full amount is mad!
