Well, we've only ever seen one guy admit to making it onto the table, so I'm sure they are playing their cards very close to their chest. We can confirm that there were no special policies or allowances made, they were subject to the same shaping and conditions as everyone else. What I imagine is they were probably managing their downloads and using scheduled or cronjobs to make sure they download around the clock.

I would also love to know :)

Hehe afriman knows the Linux truth ;-)

If I can be honest, I hardly ever see myself shaped and I download about 100gb a month, on my 2Mbps afrihost uncapped. Gaming has become amazing.. Seriously how is 170ms to Europe being achieved.. Its seriously an improvement over the 240ms telkom was giving me. League of legends is only fun under 200ms.

I use Netflix only...The content on Hulu is simply to scattered for my taste....Like 5 episodes here and 2 here and 24 in the next season...Jikes..

Also Hulu buffers on some content. And I'm on a 10mb line...Netflix no buffering and really good quality. Looks like a 2.5GB Blu-ray rip.

At Like 80 bucks a month can't really complain...I run this from a 240GB Afrihost Capped account on my Samsung smart TV. Runs really great. Below my local and int speeds.
