Afrihost website not zero-rated

Title says it all.

Can anyone confirm this?

Rather strange as Afrihost clients need to access it to top-up data.

MTN's website is working fine with a depleted cap.

Well, Afrihost is behind Cloudflare while MTN is hosted in-network, that might be why.
 
Doesn't work for me. If data runs out I need to access clientzone from another connection. Not sure if the app is zero-rated or not, don't think so.
 
Necromancing 101.

@AfriNatic and @AfriGuy. Why is your Mobile app not Zero Rated? How are you supposed to top up data if you have no data?

Same here. A bit tedious having to switch back to MTN APN, get online via zero rated FNB app, buy the smallest amount of data, then get onto Afrihost app to top up data.

I found the issue. The App Devs are using a new server for some app features. Getting the new IP's whitelisted when users are in the walled garden.

How long has it not been zero rated?

6+ Months?

I recall trying to do a topup last year sometime, didn't work.

Had to buy MTN data, change APN then buy it. :ROFL:
 
Dunno, still doesn't seem to work for me. Might've been bad luck. Will try again at some point.

Ja it's never worked for me either. Thought they did something to address it but still had to switch APN now when data ran out.

This still doesn't work. App doesn't work when out of data whether on afrihost or mtn APN.
