Afrihost winners

I've been wondering if they've even done the draw yet, or told the winners if they have?

It doesn't seem like it as the entry form is still up, and there's no mention of a winner on the site that I can see (plus I really wanted to win).
 
The prize draw will open on Tuesday 17/11/2009 and close Sunday 28/02/2010 and the prize will be drawn on Wednesday 03/03/2010. Any entries received after the closing date will be invalid. Afrihost accepts no responsibility for any errors of any other kind which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of an entry, or for delayed or lost entries.

The winners will be notified on Friday 05/03/2010 via email and a phone call, and the prizes will be delivered as soon as possible

I am checking what is happening with the draw. I hope we don't have to wait for Gian to come back... however I will keep you guys posted.

You joke about it but I had a couple of clients who were spammed with it along with other "non afrihost offers". It was extremely annoying to them. People really should ask before adding someone to a list or spamming them.
 
True and at that maybe Afrihost should have done the contest a little differently, I don't know how exactly, given people referrer links maybe?

I only entered once myself.
 
Okay it is now official... it will be done sometime this week! And if not I am gonna have to strangle someone :)

Only two days left. You may yet have to do that. :D

At least remove the page from the Web Site, otherwise you may have to face the wrath of the folks who entered late and did not bother to look up the fine print regarding the closing date.

It also makes it look like Afrihost don't care about their self-imposed deadlines which do not leave you with a positive first impression if you are not familiar with the great service otherwise. ;)

We better see the body, otherwise you guys have just been included in the group of ISPs who don't give a damn if they look like a bunch of idiots for running a fake competition, still being advertised on the Website a week after its closing date.
 
Seems pretty ridiculous that you can still enter a closed competition :P

I do not believe Afrihost are losing money on their R29 a GB "special" I would say they making R7 a GB at least!! You cant run a company at a lose,its just not how you do things,don't believe everything you read :P
 
See they finally closed it.

Wonder who won the iPhone? It should have been announced today.

The winner of the Macbook Air/R20,000 will be announced on the 24th.
