Afrihost : Youtube + Google

Anybody notice that Afrihost is now using what is looking like local proxy's for Youtube and Google??

Ping times is very good, around 30 to 100ms, but the response from these is soooooo sloooooow.
Youtube - Video takes forever to open, adds is quick, but only once the DL starts, it seems fine.
Google Maps - Here is also a big delay between selecting something and it displaying on your screen.
Anybody else have similar experience?

It's called caching servers and almost every if not all of the local ISPs use the local Google caching servers to provide Google services like YouTube.

I'm not having any problems accessing any Google services currently, I'm on Axxess but they run off the same MTN backbone as Afrihost and is also owned by Afrihost so they will be using the same caching servers as them.
