Afrihost??

So I got myself Afrihost account I mean its only R29 and I dont know if im seeing things but it looks like its unshapped?? Can anyone else confirm this?

Shaped and their service is horrendous.

Im still waiting for them to reactivate an account of mine that I have paid for but cant connect to.

It uses IS bandwith and thus it will be Semi-shaped (ie unshaped after 6 or 7 pm, whichever)

Using it with lowerping seemed to indicate it performs the same as Axess 626 accts in the evening.

I have not used it all that much lately thou.

well makes sense if its semi-shaped since I only ever used it in the evenings and over weekends. But I do not think its running over IS network because all my other IS network connections were horrid and then i started using the Afrihost account and connection was super stable and really much faster then all the other accounts.

Totally owned my Unshapped Webafrica account in ping and speed.

Anyways I just noticed it. Pritty decent for R29 tbh

But I guess we will see how long that lasts lol.
