Afrihost's DSL mail down for a few hours today; upon return, security certificate expired, recent mail missing, and last year's mail back in mailbox
Early this morning, Afrihost's DSL mail went down. It came back in the evening with the following error when trying to access it:
"There is a problem with this website’s security certificate.
The security certificate presented by this website has expired or is not yet valid.
Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.

I click on "Continue to this website (not recommended)" and after logging on, I'm presented with the following:
1) Today being 24 May 2017, the last 10 days or so of mail are missing from my mailbox; only today's messages from 17h27 onwards are present;
2) 250 emails from last year are back in my Inbox: they span from 30-Sep-16 to 10-Nov-16;
3) Every time I open an email, I'm presented with the expired security certificate error shown above;
Surely we must try to be constructive and refrain from trading offensive comments. But this is a bit much to bear. Afrihost: roll up your sleeves and get it right once and for all with the DSL mail is the least I can say. I want a solution without condescending comments from your server team, excuses nor procastination nor suggestions that I use my own domain (as if I was a business) nor another mail host. If the customer is always right, this is what's in my mind: if you make a meal of my mail a/c because it's "free", why should I reward you with a data a/c?
