Downloaded & installed the Afrikaans language pack for Win XP.

Very interesting , although some icons in the Control Panel are still in English , and some of the translations into Afrikaans a bit too formal .

Anyone else using this , other comments on this ?

Nicely done Mr. Gates :D

You'll also have to have original Windows for this, that was my main problem, but a quick corperate serial key sorts out all of your Gebuine Validation problems.

I'm using it now. Alot of it is too formal, and sometimes you woner why they left things in English, the main one being Open. They could have done somethign with that...
But the only thing in Control Panel in English (Besides thing I;ve installed that go there) is Speech, which is also stupid..

They should release the kaapse Die Son kinda veergawe, that would be nice. ("nee djou po3s, windows kannie hirrie oop maaki)

Whahahahahaha! I had the Afrikaans language pack for Fire Fox...that was bad. Looked more like Netherlands!

Had it on for a while but it took me ages to find what I was looking for each time so I ended up uninstalling it just to feel normal again.
Was quite entertaining while it was still on though. Just take a look at command prompt. :)

I actually find it almost the same, im so used to where i click and most things are in the same place so half of the time I dont even notice what lanuage its in, it could be in russian and id still get around fine most of the time.

But it irritates the hel out of english people who arent that PC literate.
